62 USD per hour, depending on experience.
Audiology Assistant / Overview To ensure that Audiology services rendered (the evaluation and treatment of patients) are completed in a timely, accurate, and reliable manner.
Those served include inpatients and outpatients, UHS staff and employees, as well as affiliated UHSH community groups as needed.
Priority is given to services which directly affect patients and supervised staff.
Key Responsibilities and Expectations Education/Experience Minimum Required:
High school diploma or equivalent.
One year of experience in Audiology or ENT related field Preferred:
Associates Degree Basic knowledge of current professional Audiology trends and developments.
Secretarial experience to include Audiology terminology.
License/Certification Minimum Required:
NYS Hearing Aid Dispensing License within 1 year of hire Preferred:
Not Applicable Work Environment Work is performed in an office environment which requires working in close proximity to other employees.
Room is air conditioned and heated.
Delivery of services may also be performed bedside at different sites.
Uses spray and liquid cleansers for cleaning electrodes and equipment.
Age of Patients Served All Age Groups HIPAA Roles-Based Access to Patient Information All - Access to patient information, including restricted information - Level 4 Staff Supervised Not Applicable Direct Experience.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
