Manager Clinical Engineering, UHS Wilson Medical Center United Health Services is seeking a Manager Clinical Engineering to join our Biomedical Engineering department at UHS Wilson Medical Center in Johnson City, NY.

56 - 65.
34 USD per hour, depending on experience.
Manager Clinical Engineering / Overview To provide responsive leadership to the BioMedical Engineering Department, enabling staff to provide high quality services and maintain medical equipment.
The department will strive to achieve continuously improved services by ensuring regulatory compliance and safety standards, and by meeting or exceeding customers' needs.
Key Responsibilities and Expectations Education/Experience Minimum Required:
Bachelor's Degree in Technology or other healthcare-related field.
Three (3) years' experience as a Supervisor or Manager Clinical Engineering, or five (5) years' experience as a Senior Biomedical Equipment Specialist/Technician.
Preferred:
Master's Degree in Business, Technology or other healthcare-related field.
Three (3) years' experience as a Supervisor or Manager Clinical Engineering, or five (5) years' experience as a Senior Biomedical Equipment Specialist/Technician.
License/Certification Minimum Required:
AAMI Affliation Preferred:
AAMI certification as a CBET or CHTM Work Environment The work involves regular and recurrent exposure to hazards, unpleasantness, and discomforts such as moving machine parts, shielded radiation sources, irritant chemicals, acid fumes, physical stresses, high noise levels, adverse weather conditions, and high temperatures from steam lines.
Protective equipment and clothing may be needed, including hardhat, metatarsal shoes, earmuffs or plugs, goggles, respirators and gloves.
