Nocturnist Hospitalist Physician Opportunity in New York

Job Description:
Great opportunity for a residency trained, Board certified/Board eligible, Internal Medicine physician to practice as a Nocturnist Hospitalist (Academic Nocturnist preferred) in a 300+ bed, Regional Level II Trauma Center.
In this role, the candidate will supervise/precept a night float resident, work-up new admissions during overnight hours, respond to emergencies and consultation requests for other specialties.
Procedures are not required.
Night shifts are 10 hours (10pm - 7 am), 14 shifts per month.
The program consists of approximately 20 hospitalists and 3 Nurse Practitioners.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
